The low side port is located on the suction line, close to the firewall on the passenger side.

It seems like the coupler (on malibu) is smaller
than normal size. I bought connection hose from
parts house and it doesn't connect right.
I've added refredgerant to other vehicles in
the past and never had this problem.

The answer and diagram you sent when I asked question were correct Wrenchtech, I just wasn't
looking good enough at first (when I sent first reply), I was looking at the wrong port (it had
a green cap on it and was more to drivers side).
I reread your aswer and seen you said it was on
passenger side, then when I looked again I found
port and added a can of 134a and A/C is blowing
cold (39deg). Thanks again, hedgerop
