Hello!
Since this vehicle does not have a maintenance reminder 9oil change ) light, the light you are referring to is the malfunction indicator light that is turned on by the vehicle's powertrain control module when something related to engine or transmission operation is abnormal.
To erase fault code information from menory to make the light go off, all you need to do is disconnect a battery cable for 30 seconds.
If teh light comes back on after the memory reset, then there is a problem still evident that the computer is trying to warn you about, which will need to be diagnosed and repaired before the warning light will remain off.
