Hello, unless you have the 8.1L motor, the post below should be what you need. Note, it does require a special socket to fit the sensor. Most parts stores will have one. Thanks

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement


Tools Required

J 41712 Oil Pressure Switch Socket

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 684224  Size: SH

  1. If necessary, remove the engine sight shield.
  2. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector (1).
    Object Number: 260089  Size: SH

  3. Using J 41712 or equivalent, remove the oil pressure sensor.

Installation Procedur

    Object Number: 260089  Size: SH

  1. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004, (Canadian P/N 10953480), or equivalent, to the threads of the oil pressure sensor.
  2. Using J 41712 or equivalent, install the oil pressure sensor.

    Tighten
    Tighten the oil pressure sensor to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  3. Connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector (1).
  4. If necessary, install the engine sight shield.
