2003 Chevy Impala: I adjust the headlights..adjustment

Customer Question

How do I adjust the headlights om my 2003 Chevy Impala? I know where the adjustment screws are. Which way do I turn the screws to lower the lights? Clockwise or counterclockwise ?

HiCustomer Thank you for asking your question on Just Answer.

According to the diagram I have (below), it appears that the aiming screw is at the top of the headlight assembly. So to make the headlights go down, you would turn the screw clockwise. This would extend the end of the screw and cause the lights to go down. Counter-clockwise should make them rise.

It should become apparent which way they move after a couple of turns of the screw.

I hope this helps.

Take Care, Greg A.
