How do I change front brake pads in Chevy S-10

This answer was rated:

I have never changed the brake pads in a Chevy S10, What are the steps and do I need any special tools?
You will have to remove the 2 bolts that mount the caliper to the spindle. The tool you will need for this is a 3/8 allen head socket. With the inner pad still in the caliper you can compress the piston back into the caliper with a large channel lock pliers or a C clamp. Then install the new pads into the caliper .Be sure to lube the caliper pins and bushings with caliper lube.
