Before you do a tune-up-you need to check the engine compression to identify internal problems with the combutions chamber-not within specs. its not gonna do you good. If compression is good. Use only OEM parts: Major tune-Plugs/Wires/Cap/Rotor/PCV valve/Air filter/Fuel filter then scanned it for OBD2 code/s for problems within the engine management system.

Scan tool or a code reader pulls the code/s that are stored in the computer- it tells you whether you have a problem with a sensor/wiring or the computer itself
