Hello, If the ruck has a carburetor, you will need to follow the fuel line to the front of the carburetor, if this is a full size V8 truck. The line will go into a large nut on the front of the carburetor and the filter is behind that nut. Use 2 wrenches on the nut and line so you don't twist the line. Be sure to be careful when removing the nut as it has a seal on it and a spring behind the filter, don't drop either. The filter goes in with the flat end first. Open end toward the fuel line.
