Hello and welcome. It sounds to that you may have 1 of 2 problems. While replacing the engine, you may have stretched the wires at the trans. plug. Remve that connector, pull on each wire while holding the connector and see if any wire pulls out. Also check the terminal inside the connector to see if maybe one of the female terminals is wider than the others. check all the fuses. Or you may have an unrelated problem caused by a faulty igntion switch. Need to have the pcm scanned and see if you have any codes for any shift soleniods. If you do, then most likely a streched wire, or poor connection at the trans. If you have other non-related codes (communication, abs, sir, etc) then possibly an ignition switch problem. If this was helpful, please ACCEPT. Positive feedback also welcome, thanks.
