The recommended factory weight is 5W30 oil. The brand can be whatever you want but just make sure it's a reputable one. Schell, Mobil, Quaker state, Chevron, etc are all good brands. Once the engine starts getting up in mileage over 40 or 50,000 miles then I would switch to 10W30 as an added insurance it won't be as thin as the 5W30.
