Hi - inside the Chevy Cobalt fuse box, which position fuse is the 12V fuse? HUGE EMERGENCY..... thanks!! Suzanne
Hello.
All fuses are 12V fuses. If you know which components are powered by the fuse, I can tell you the location.
Hi - THANKS - there are two "power ports" in the car (look kind of like a place for a lighter, but I'm trying to charge my GPS thing...and NEITHER power port is working). I have the fuse box panel cover off -- but there's no indication which fuses go to the power port. Does that clarify?....... THANKS AGAIN!!! Suzanne
Thanks, what's the vehicle's year and engine size?
It's a rental, so tough to say -- but it has 12K miles, so I'd guess a 2006 -- and no clue on engine size. 4 cyl....?
OK, check the vin number. It is located on the door jam or on the dash by the windshield on the driver's side. I need the 8th and 10th number.
UPDATE to the problem: I can't find a fuse in the fuse block for either of the power ports...IS there one, or is the circuit breaker for the power ports somewhere else?...The initial problem is still the same: neither power port in my car is working -- only now I'm wondering if that's even a fuse panel issue, or something else I need to check. Answer to the question, it's a 2006 model, and the VIN # XXXXX: 1G1AL55FX77143599 Hello? Am I still connected?..... I'm still trying to resolve the same problem... Suzanne39158.7266324421
Your vehicle is a 2007 model woth a 2.2 L engine.
Your fuse box is under the hood. Look for the fuse for the "lighter" and "trunk/ outlet" in the picture.
