I have tried pushing the window back into place on the door. The little fins do not want to go back into the slots

I am a little confused on what you are working with. You are trying to replace the swing out extended cab window? This should have a latch and two hinges?

Reply to PARTSPRO4779's Post: Yes it does.

I am wondering how the hinges are attached to the body? And also the window?
Expert:  PARTSPRO4779 replied 7 years ago.
Do your windows not swing out?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Reply to PARTSPRO4779's Post: the hinges on the window fit in grove on molding that goes on the door. They're plastic and they flare out so when it's in the grove they won't come out

Can you post your VIN Number?

You have a good one here. Gm has apparently redesigned that hinge due to a wind noise. The bad thing is they don't have any instructions on how to put the old style together. They have revised their instructions to work with the new style hinge. I have never had one of those apart, so I am in the dark here. Here is the info on the redesigned window. I know its not going to help you, but atleast you can see what I am looking at! Wish I could be of more help. The instructions are the ones I already posted, but here it all is anyway!
