To do a tune-up on your vehicle, the only tools you will need is a spark plug socket, an extension and a ratchet to remove the plugs from the engine, and a spark plug gapper, and a small screwdriver to open the clips that hold down the wires.
The only parts you will need are the plugs and ignition wire set (some people don't change the wire set, but they tend to get damaged when removing them from this motor.)

I would recommend using a platinum or double platinum plug to replace the originals.

Also, I would recommend changing the wires and plugs one cylinder at a time to avoid crossing the wires.
