Welcome!

My nickname is Todd and I will be the expert working with you today to help resolve your problem.

Please try this procedure to reset your phone:
1. You phone needs to be turned on.
2. Press power button
3. Select "Offline"
4. Type (in call mode) *#7370#
5. Pop up will shown "Delete data & sett. from ..."
6. Select "Yes"

Please let me know if that works. If yes, please rate my answer with GOOD SERVICE or EXCELLENT SERVICE, as this is the only way I get credited for helping you.

Hi Amy,

Thanks for the reply.

That's strange. Check the picture below - click here

Please try to find offline profile in your menu. On the home screen, select the profile and Offline.

  • Thanks Amy,
  • Looks like that your phone have modified software.
  • Let's try this. Remove SIM card if you have SIM card in the phone and try to perform the procedure I have provided in the previous message. Turn on the phone and type the code.
  • Thanks!

    Thanks.

Problem is because phone needs to be in offline mode, but there is no offline mode on your phone (very strange). Also, default master code is 12345 but probably previous owner changed the password.

Phone will probably ask to "end all calls and connections" if you enter code I have provided you in the previous answer in general mode but can you please try to type the code with phone in general mode?

    Thank you.

    Sorry Amy,

For the reason that you are not available to perform master reset of the phone because default password XX XXXXXXX, combination of buttons doesn't work (Volume down + Camera + Home button) and you can't reset your phone via master reset code (*#7370#) the only way to reset your phone will be to flash your phone with specific tools and new phone software. Unfortunately you will not be able to perform that process by yourself (tools cost over $500). You will have to contact your cell phone provider or local repair store. They have tools necessary to "flash" your phone.

If you need more information or you are not satisfied with my service (my effort to help) please do not rate my answer negative BAD service or POOR service. Reply to me using "Reply to Expert" button.

I know that this is not what you expect but unfortunately there is no other option to reset your phone. Software is modified and doesn't accept regular options for resetting.

If you are satisfied with my personal service please don't forget to rate my answer with GOOD SERVICE or EXCELLENT SERVICE, as this is the only way I get credited for helping you.

    Thank you!
