Welcome!

My nickname is Todd and I will be the expert working with you today to help resolve your problem.

Before we start, please let me explain how this service works:
Electronics troubleshooting is not always easy and sometimes I will not be able to solve your problem immediately, so if my first answer does not solve your problem or you need more information please do not rate my answer bad or negative "Helped a little" or "I expected more". Please use "Reply to Expert" or "Continue conversation" button instead.

When you are satisfied or your problem has been solved, please rate my answer with 3 STARS or higher/Smiley face, as this is the only way I get credited for helping you.

If you never changed your password, try to enter default password. The default password XXX the phone are "0000" or "00000000" (4 or 8 zeros), 1111, 1234, 9999, last 4 digits of your phone.

If you changed your password, there is only one solution we can try online. Please follow the steps below to perform factory/hard reset of the phone:
1. Turn off your phone
2. Remove battery and SIM card.
3. Replace battery, not the SIM card.
4. Turn on your phone and type this code *2767*3855#
5. Press Talk/Send key.
6. Phone should reset and reboot.

If you are not able to enter code (for any reason - locked menu or phone do not recognize # XXXXXX) the only option to unlock your phone will be to "flash" your phone with specific tools and new software. Unfortunately, you will not be able to flash your phone by yourself. You will have to contact your cell phone provider or Samsung Customer Care at free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

If you need more information please use "Reply to Expert" or "Continue conversation" button to let me know. Please do not rate my answer with 1 or 2 stars, I'll get negative feedback for helping you.

Thanks!

Hi Rowland,

I see you have selected "I expected more". Is there anything I can do to improve your rating?

"I expected more" does not allow me to recieve credit for my work and I also get a negative rating.

If the hard reset procedure doesn't solve your problem. The only way to unlock the phone will be to flash the phone. Like I already said if your provider will not to unlock your phone you will have to contact Samsung customer service (I have provided you with the phone number in my previous answer).

Please note - there is no other way to unlock your phone than flashing the phone. Unfortunately you will not be able to perform that process. There are tools necessary for this procedure (cost about $500).

If you need more information please let me know. Thanks!
