My company is closing and I have asked to be able to retain my cell phone number that I have used for a long time. I have received a text message (43895) that states that "1 XXXXXXXXX is scheduled to be removed from clinicals*@hotmail.com" Visit https://account.live.com to review. Code(NNN) NNN-NNNN I have tried to do all of those things and have made no headway whatsoever. The botXXXXX XXXXXne is that I want to keep that (484) number and am trying to figure out how to go about doing that. Thanks
If it matters, the company cell provider is ATT and I have no problem staying with ATT for the time being. Hope this helps.
Any progress on my question?
Already Tried: I tried to explain in my first message what I have tried to do. At the moment I am at a deadend.
Hello! This notification is stating the removal of your email account from the company roster. In order to keep your number, you need to do what is known as an assumption of liability. Your company needs to contact AT&T, which I am sure they have probably already done, to give authorization for you to take over the line. You then need to contact them to take the line over into your name by running credit, etc.

What does Hotmail have to do with my cell phone account? Can I resolve this issue with the company and ATT or do I have to involve Hotmail for any reason?
The hotmail email account is independent of your phone number. It sounds like hotmail just had your phone number linked as a contact for that email account.
