I have a a Samsung mobile model no SHG-A411 using Telstra Next G prepaid service.(This phone has been excellent,and works well in a rural bushfire-prone area.) In a few weeks time we will be traveling to Canada & Alaska,and wish to know if this mobile will work with the networks in those countries,or if we have to get a new mobile phone. To unlock your phone you need to have code generator software or specific tools and latest mobile firmware's (software flash files) to flash your phone. Unfortunately, you will not be able to unlock it by yourself. Dear Todd,For a number of reasons I wish to stay with Telstra prepaid,so won't pursue any Virgin options.I know a Telstra technician who may be able to help unlock my Samsung A411 for me,so will try this.Please cancel my free one month trial subscription.Your help was O.K but I do not likethe way the Just answer system works.Thank you.
