Is this the T-Mobile version, or?

This is an AT&T Blackberry

There are no buttons on the top of the phone when it is facing you.Message "Keyboard is locked, press the lock button to unlock."

Gotcha... ok. Those two are very similar. It is kind of hidden on that device. It's actually on the top of the device. If you look closely you should see the faint icon there. It's more pronounced in this picture just to show you where it's at:

And it make actually be on the opposite side on yours.
