Iphone 3gs was working fine. dropped in an otter box and now is blank screen. Lights up a bit but still blank. Have restored and still nothing. Nothing broken or cracked on the phone. What's the problem?

It is totally black except for a backlight but nothing else. It vibrates when called and is recognized in iTunes when syncing. I performed a restorethru itunes but still the same
Hi,In that case most likely the lcd display has gone bad. You can buy a replacement lcd on Ebay and find video on how to replace it on youtube.If that does not resolve the issue, then the main board of the iPhone has issues and you will have to take it to Apple store to get it repaired.Feel free to ask any question or concern you may have.
