Customer Question

My kitten has very strong smelly poop and today it was bloody and mucous
Assistant: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: her eyes have been cloudy since we got her, 4 months ago. She is 7 months old and seems to cry very often. And then I was reading about why her poop is so smelly today when I found bloody mucous coming out of her rear and it mentioned parisites. Are the cloudy eyes also evidence of possible parisites? She is a bambino cat and right after we brought her home, she broke out with ringworm

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me:

Was the stool loose?

When was she last wormed and what did you use?

How much blood did you see? A spoonful, more or less?

Are her gums pink or white/pale? Moist or sticky?

If you press on her belly, any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?

Could she have eaten anything she should not have (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, human meds, etc)?
