Seems to be passing stones the size of a pin head.

Customer Question

Seems to be passing stones the size of a pin head. Constantly licking herself and tongue hanging out.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the cat's name and age?
Customer: 7 chubs
JA: Is there anything else the veterinarian should be aware of about the cat?
Customer: Burried a cat 2 weeks ago, same symptoms 10x worse, also have 3 more that I have rescued . Started when I used flea medicine.
JA: Using the wrong medication for fleas can be dangerous. You should definitely talk to the veterinarian. What is the cat's name?

I am sorry to hear you are worried about Chubs.

Are the stones passing from her bladder? If so she probably needs antibiotics, and an Xray to see if there are any stones too large to pass in her bladder.

I would consider having the stones analyzed to find out what kind they are (this is done free, through your veterinarian, at the urology center at the U. of Minn. vet school), because there are special diets that can help dissolve some types of stones.
