My cat is lethargic, feels hot to the touch, is not eating

Customer Question

Hi, my cat is lethargic, feels hot to the touch, is not eating or drinking and is has been curled up in the back of my closet for a day. This started with a vomiting spell yesterday morning. He is using the bathroom.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. This sounds like it might be serious. I'll let the Veterinarian know what's going on ASAP. Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about your cat?

Hello! I am Dr Welsh and I am happy to help with your questions today. I am sorry that your kitty isn't feeling well. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this. I have just a few additional questions for you so that I can make the best recommendation.

how long has this been going on for?

how old is the cat?

has he been to the vet recently or had any bloodwork recently?

any current meds or illness?

have you tried to entice him with anything?
