Customer Question

I noticed a while ago that my female cat's breathing is different. It's faster and her abdomen shows a laboured breathing.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the cat's name and age?
Customer: Her name is ***** ***** she's 15 years old.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Minou?
Customer: I noticed that she has been less interested in her food, until earlier today when I gave her fresh roasted chicken - she ate all of what I gave her.

I am sorry to hear you are worried about Minou. I am also very worried by your description of her breathing.

If her abdomen is showing laboured breathing, this could be a sign of serious illness: fluid in her lungs, asthma, heart disease. She should have a chest Xray as soon as possible.

If you check her gums, are they pink in color or do they seem pale?
