Customer Question

My cat is very old and frail....I think she may have an infection in a tooth but am afraid any surgery or medication will kill hert
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. There are all sorts of infestations cats can pick up. I'll have you talk to the Veterinarian who'll sort out what is wrong and help you decide what to do about it. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about your cat?
Customer: She threw up and had stomach problems for a while but that passed and now she is finicky about eating and will not return to the dish once she has tasted the food

Hello and thank you for your question. I am a Veterinary Nurse with over 15 years experience and I have assisted in the care of many pets with this particular medical concern. It would be my pleasure to assist you today. Is it possible for me to obtain some additional information from you about your companion?

1) How old is your cat?
2) When did she most recently have diagnostics performed? Blood work?
3) What type of food is being offered? kibble? canned? home made?
4) When did she last eat normally?
5) Is she losing weight?
