Customer Question

My cat is laying quietly on the floor but she is panting. Seems kind of disoriented.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The Veterinarian will know how to help your cat. What is the cat's name and age?
Customer: Emma and she is 12. She is a large Maine Coon. She takes insulin.
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Emma?
Customer: Just the diabetes.

Hello! I am Dr Welsh and I am happy to help with your questions today. I am sorry that your kitty isn't feeling well. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this. I have just a few additional questions for you so that I can make the best recommendation.

how long has this been going on for?

is she still eating and drinking?

when was the last time she saw a vet?

when was the last time she had her glucose tested?

does she always eat when you give her the insulin?
