My male neutered cat about 3 yrs old is leaking a watery

Customer Question

my male neutered cat about 3 yrs old is leaking a watery blood and of course since it is a holiday I can't find a vet anyplace to take him to. he is mostly just laying around. I have seen him get a drink, use the litter box once and eat a few bites of food.
any suggestions?

Ah, poor Ebby. If the leaking watery blood is urine, he needs to be seen by an emergency vet today. This could be a life-threatening emergency called a urethral obstruction. If you need help finding a 24-hr facility near you, please give me your zip code and I'll do a google search for you. Otherwise, look at your regular vet's website and/or call and listen to their voicemail. Both places should hopefully have information about where to take your pet after hours for an emergency. And this does sound like an emergency. Hope that helps- Dr. C
