Hello again

I have worked out an answer for you below ...

1. Ceftin is a drug which is not used much in cats and is not licensed for the species, however it is sometimes prescribed by vets on an " Off label Basis "

2. Where it is prescribed for cats a dose rate of 10 mg per kg of bodyweight given orally twice a day for a 7 to 10 day period would be reasonable.

I hope I have covered your question fully enough but if you would like further clarification or to talk things over a bit more then I will be on-line for the next hour or so and I will be more than pleased to continue working with you.

Regards,

Dr Scott
