Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today. We can see sensitive cats develop adverse reactions to Clindamycin. That said, this tends to be colitis, vomiting, or diarrhea. This drug would not affect the liver. As well, changes in breathing wouldn't be expected from using this drug and therefore we'd be more concerned about heart issues, lung infections, asthma, or even lung tumors causing those signs instead of it being related to the drug. So, while liver disease could be related to Tootsie's age, those aforementioned concerns should be looked into if she is having breathing issues. Please take care,Dr. B. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If you have any other questions, please ask me – I’ll be happy to respond. **Afterwards, I would be grateful if you would rate my service by clicking on the "Rate my Expert' button at the top of the page as this is the only way I am credited for helping you. Thank you for your feedback!: )
