Hi I have a 20 year old cat who recently has started vomiting. She isn't eating much either.

Hello. Thanks for the question. In an older cat like this, I would want to rule out kidney disease. You'll need to get some bloodwork to either diagnose this or rule it out. I would have that done in the morning with your vet. If it's kidney disease, then we treat with fluids and GI protectants. If the bloodwork is normal, then great. In that case, we would treat symptomatically with anti-nausea meds (Anzemet) and appetite stimulants (Mirtazapine). I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

There are a lot of things: cancer (lymphoma), diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, gastroenteritis, an obstruction- there are lots of differentials.
