I AM NOW MAKING CAT FOOD AND MY CATS ARE DOING BETTER,NO MORE RUNNY EYES AND THEY ARE LOOSING WEITHG.THE ARE HEAVY .THE OLDER ONE 8 YRS OLD HAS STARTED TO PLSY WITH HIS TOYS ALONE AND RUNNING AROUND THE HOUSE HAVING FUN.MY QUESTION IS IS IT OK TO GIVE THE ONLY LIVER ,FOR THEIR INNERS?

Liver can be a treat but never the sole ingredient because of potential vitamin A toxicosis. I can give you a balanced home-cooked recipe for the normal 8 year old cat. Just tell me which primary protein source you prefer to feed - chicken, turkey, ground beef, lamb, tuna, whitefish, salmon, or tofu?

i HAVE BEEN MIXING THE LIVER WITH COOKED HAMBURG,KIELBASA.ALSO GIVING THE CANNED TUNA AND ADDED OIL.
