Hello, this is Dr. Jess. I am sorry to hear about your kitty! It is possible her issues could be related to allergies, but even so, they may require additional medication from your veterinarian. Chin acne usually require either a topical prescription treatment or oral antibiotics, depending on the severity. Shaking her head could be a sign of an ear infection, which can sometimes be a result of allergies, but also sometimes requires ear drops to treat. So these issues may have originated from allergies, but could have a secondary bacterial component that requires additional treatment. Does that make sense?
