Hello,

My name is***** and I will help you.

This is a question I hear all the time. Let's go through as list of possible reasons Oreo insists on doing the wrong thing.

The box is too small.

She doesn't like the litter.

The box is not clean enough for her tastes.

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 11 months ago.

There is another cat around that is disturbing her.

If she has diarrhea, she may not make it into the box on time.

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 11 months ago.

The sides of the box may be too high.

She doesn't like the location of the box.

She has some arthritis which makes defecation uncomfortable in box.

Go through the list and see if any seem possible.

Now, here are some questions for you.

How long has this been going on? Did she used to defecate in the box before?Did you recently move?

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 11 months ago.

There is no easy fix for this problem. It is usually trial and error until you hit upon the fix that works for Oreo. If you want, we can do a phone call and discuss this since there are so many possibilities.

You may be asleep somewhere. I am in Hawaii on Pacific Time (5 hours earlier than the East Coast, two hours earlier than the West Coast).

I'll be back in the morning to continue this.

I love these complex puzzles. Let's figure out what makes Oreo tick.

Good morning,

It's a gorgeous sunny morning here in Hawaii, although at my altitude it is 55 degrees.

Have you had a chance to read my emails. Would you like a phone call to discuss all the things that could be affecting Oreo?

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 11 months ago.

I just got a message that you wanted a phone call. Please leave me your number and I'll call you right away
