I am so sorry Fred is not feeling well.
He may have an upper respiratory or ear infection.
This is analogous to our common cold.
An ear infection can affect his balance:
Rub a drop of pancake syrup or honey into his gums to raise his blood sugar.
He may have difficulty smelling food causing his inappetance. Offer odorous foods like tuna, salmon, sardines and canned cat food.
Drain the water from a can of tuna into a bowl and see if he will lap it up for hydration.
Apply damp, warm teabags to his eyes. The tanic acid in the tea will sooth.
Add one quarter of a 4 mg chlortrimeton to a tablespoon of chicken or turkey baby food (no onion or garlic) every 24 hours.
Add 250 mg of l-lysine to his water to boost his immune system or get these:
You can also use little noses pediatric nose drops.
Make a steam room in your bathroom by running a hot shower and take him in for ten minute intervals.
Please let me know how Fred is doing. Reply here or if you prefer we can speak on the phone.
Please be so kind as to rate my answer with positive feedback, as that is the only way I receive recognition from the site for my assistance. Thank you!
