I brought a kitty into the house, and I think I feel teeny

Customer Question

I brought a kitty into the house, and I think I feel teeny fleas in my human hair. I gave the cat capstar, and earlier in weeks, revolution, but I feel i have a few of the teeny ones in my hair. What ca I do? I'm shocked. I'm in cat recue and never had this happen to me. I have colored hair, not bleach, but colored. What can I do. I really think I have a few in my hair.

Fleas will certainly jump on us but they don't stay long. We're not very tasty to them. Wash your hair, leave it wet, and have Pete thoroughly check your scalp. The area in which Thelma is being kept can be sprayed down with over the counter Siphotrol - an area treatment spray that contains an insect growth regulator (IGR) which is a hormone that doesn't allow flea eggs or larvae to develop into adult fleas.
