Have Cat Questions? Ask a Cat Vet Online.
Hello, I am sorry to hear you are worried about PJ. I am a veterinarian and will do my best to help.
I see he has a fever, how high is it? Normal rectal temperature is between 101 and 102.
Is he eating, and drinking?
This could be a respiratory infection, and he may need antibiotics. You can only get prescription medication like antibiotics from a veterinarian who has seen and examined him. You can try using Little Noses, for sneezing and congestion; it is an over the counter nose drop for children. I would encourage him to drink as much as possible to stay hydrated, by offering broth, or adding water to his food.
Is there any blood seen when he sneezes?
I hope to hear from you soon. Rebecca
