Our one year old male cat was limping on front right paw two

Customer Question

Our one year old male cat was limping on front right paw two weeks ago. Vet prescribed an antibiotic in case of a bite even though there was no sign of one. Then a week later, he was running a fever and lethargic but not limping so they tried a different antibiotic. Today he lost most of his ability to stand on his back legs. Vet is puzzled but prescribed steroids. Help please!

I am sorry to hear you are worried about Shadow. I am a veterinarian and will do my best to help.

I am sorry you did not get help from an expert before now. Do you still want help with your question?

Does he still have a fever? Have any blood tests or an Xray been taken?
