Our female cat (Maddie) which is 10 years old just stopped

Customer Question

Our female cat (Maddie) which is 10 years old just stopped eating 4-5 days ago. Drinking a small amount of water. She will eat a few treats. She has always eaten dry Eukanaba. We took her to our Vet which they did a mouth exam, blood work (which came back normal but the Thyroid test is still out for evaluation), no known lumps on the body, and normal temperature. She was vomiting but that stopped. Some diarrhea but not too bad. Litter Box activity is normal. A bit sluggish. She will go up to her food bowl and put her nose in the bowl but walks away. I guess we need to do an X-Ray.....Any suggestions???

Hello and thanks for trusting me to help you and your pet today. I am a licensed veterinarian with over 25 years experience and would be happy work with you. Did your vet prescribe any appetite stimulants or other medications?

Do you know if they tested her for pancreatitis with a test called a PLI? Do you know if there were any specialized GI tests run? They are not usually part of a regular blood panel and have to be specifically requested. They would be ones called TLI, B12 or cobalamin and folate.
