Customer Question

Hi, shes a older cat that I've had for about a year and a half, and she's recently started having trouble peeing and pooping, I watch her strain in the litter box, but very little comes out, but I am consistently finding smaller turds and small amounts of thick looking urine around the house.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.
Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner. If you would still like assistance, can you tell me:
Is she drinking well or poorly?
Is she on a dry or wet food diet?
Since she has thick urine, did her vet test her urine?
Did her vet start her on any treatment for her signs?
Did the bloods all come back normal?
