Ok thank you. Cats are stress vomiters so I am hoping the visitors were a bit exciting for him. To help settle his stomach take a 10 mg pepcid ac tablet, which is an over the counter human stomach acid reducer, and either pop it down his throat chased with a few drops of water or crush it and give it in a syringe with water.

Since he is young, we have to worry about low blood sugar and dehydration if he is vomiting a lot. If he becomes dehydrated, his gums will feel dry and when you pull up the skin between his shoulder blades it will go down slowly rather then springing back into place.

To help with hydration, you can give him children's pedialyte drinke with a syringe or eye dropper. Just a few drops every hour until his gums are moist.

Instead of canned food, see if he will eat some plain cooked chicken put in the food processor or torn into very tiny pieces. That is easier to digest than cat food.

To help keep his blood sugar up you can rub pancake syrup, karo syrup, o honey on his gums every 3-4 hours.

Wait until he has not vomited for 3-4 hours before giving him any solid foods like chicken, formula, or kitten food.

If he is not improved by morning, he needs to see the vet.

If he becomes very lethargic, there is blood in the vomit, he can not keep fluids down for more than 8 hours, or his gums turn very pale then he should see the ER vet tonight.

How does that sound?
