My cat has been vomiting since Friday evening. He's vomited

Customer Question

My cat has been vomiting since Friday evening. He's vomited about 7 times since then. Yesterday morning, he vomited up all of the dry food that we had fed him for breakfast which was basically still in their original shape. Otherwise, he's been vomiting up clear liquid, which has gone between a few drops to a little pool. I thought it might be hair balls so I got him laxatone and he threw all of that up. after the breakfast incident yesterday morning we've been feeding him baby food (chicken and turkey for first stages to ensure there's no onion or garlic) and he does seem to be able to keep that down. What should i do?

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

Can he keep water down?

Are his gums nice and pink (not white/pale)? Moist or sticky?

If you press on his belly, does he have any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?

Could he have eaten anything he should not have (ie bones, stones, string, plants, chemicals, human meds, etc)?
