Customer Question

Hi, my name is Shani

I am very worried about my kitten. She has become very listless. My cat, Dora, had three kittens. This morning I woke up and she is listless and I am very worried. What can we do? I keep putting her on the Mom to nurse, but the mother just leaves...

Is anybody there? I am really worried, I have to leave in a few minutes to teach Sunday school. It's been almost a full 15 minutes.

Hi Shani,
Welcome to JustAnswer. I'm a licensed veterinarian and I'll be happy to help. I just came online and found your post from a few hours ago. Our experts do come online at different times, but very few have been on this morning.
Are you still in need of some guidance with this little kitten? If so, please just let me know. I'll be online most of today.

No. Unfortunately the kitten died.

Shani, I am so sorry! I will let our administration know what has happened so they can refund your deposit.

Thank you. There was nothing anybody could have done. I don't know what happened. We are very sad and appreciate your condolences.

You are welcome. You are right, when these little guys refuse to nurse or the mom refuses them, then there is very likely something quite wrong.
Again, I am so sorry you have to go through this.
