Thanks for the question.While I cannot diagnose your cat's problem via the internet I can make the following general comments based on my past experience of such cases over the years : The first thing to say is that an enlargement of the pelvic canal { Meaning the bony structure } is not likely to be associated with any particular disease process in cats. As to a differential :1. I would strongly consider stasis of the colon { megacolon } as a possible diagnosis, this is not an uncommon condition. Here is a link for more information : LINK2. Also consider bowel obstruction through ingesting foreign objects such as lengths of string etc.3.
