Thank you for your question. Have you seen Thomas going in and out of the litter box at all?

Customer replied 330 days and 18 hours ago.

No, he has not been out at all.

Ok, thank you. These symptoms can indicate stomach pain, and there are a few things that can cause stomach pain in a cat. In males, the most concerning thing is a blockage of the urethra, which makes them unable to urinate. This is very painful, and they often will vocalize when the abdomen is touched. This is an emergency, since if the cat cannot urinate, the bladder will continue to fill and may rupture. Other possible causes for stomach pain include foreign bodies in the stomach or intestines, infections of the urinary system, liver or kidney disease, & pancreatitis. I would advise that you have him checked as soon as you can so that your vet can try to pinpoint the cause the pain and get him started on treatment.

I hope this helps, please let me know if I can answer any other questions.

Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX helpful. Can this wait till the morning and, if so, is there anything I can do for him tonight?

If this is a blocked urethra, it really can't wait, as I said. Since we don't know for sure what is going on, I can't advise you to give him anything. Just keep him quiet and offer him food and water, if he wants it.
