Hello - I am Dr. Matt -I would be glad to help you with your question.

If Mouse has another episode where he seems like his blood sugar is running low you can definitely give him some karo syrup or even honey to eat. I would place the karo syrup or honey directly in his mouth if he seems to act lethargic.

The best way to try to prevent this would be to feed him some canned food every 4 hours in addition to his dry food (if he is getting any dry food). More frequent smaller meals a re a great way to keep his blood sugar at a more normal level.

I would also stop giving him milk as cats's are lactose intolerant and cannot digest this very well. Milk can cause diarrhea if too much is given.

Hope this helps -please reply if you have any other questions.

No, I am sorry, that milk is just fine. I was thinking that you were giving him cow's milk. The Feline Milk plus does not have any lactose in it therefore is perfectly fine to give to him. You can definitely continue giving him this milk.
