Rebeccavet : Hi JACustomer,
Rebeccavet : Thank you for your question. My name is XXXXXXX XXX I am a licensed veteriarian.
Customer :

im george thanks

Rebeccavet : The "haw" is the third eyelid that all cats have; is that what you are referring to? Are her third eyelids covering her eyes?
Customer :

yes they are

Customer :

about 1/3 covered

Customer :

and she is a he

Rebeccavet : Is she eating and drinking normally? Any sneezing or coughing, or is she just walking around with a "flick of the haw"?
Rebeccavet : Sorry! He!
Customer :

not eating normal

Rebeccavet : Eye infections and upper respiriatory infections can cause this, but so can internal diseses. Third eyelid prolapse has been associated with internal parasites like worms.
Rebeccavet : So he may need a goo wormer, but if he has a respiratory infection, Curly might need antibiotics.
Customer :

i got him on anti biotics

Customer :

should i get him to a vet

Rebeccavet : Good wormer like praziquantel, and / or fenbendazole or Albon. Is there any diarrhea?
Rebeccavet : What antibiotics is he taking?
Customer :

i dont know cus he has not used his box

Customer :

he has been going outside

Rebeccavet : What antibiotic is he taking?
Customer :

cephalalexin

Rebeccavet : What dose?
Customer :

please give me a moment some knocked on door

Customer :

125mg

Customer :

someone

Rebeccavet : That is not the antibiotic I would usually use for respiratory infections, but you could see if it helps.
Rebeccavet : He may need eyedrops.
Rebeccavet : And if you could collect a stool sample at all, it would be good to test him for parasites.
Customer :

should i should get him to vet

Rebeccavet : That would probably be best if he is not eating well.
Customer :

ok

Rebeccavet : Until then, keep him eating if you can, and really try to keep him hydrated by getting him to drink water or broth or any liquids you can.
Customer :

what kind of liquid?

Rebeccavet : Any liquids he will drink like broth, water flavored with tuna juice, or even milk if it does it upset his stomach (some cats are lactose intolerant).
Customer :

i think ill get him to a vet

Customer :

he is like my baby

Rebeccavet : I think that is a great idea. He will probably feel a lot better.
Customer :

and i love him very much

Rebeccavet : I can tell.
Customer :

ok thank you

Customer :

and i will give you a great score

Customer :

or whjatever it is

Rebeccavet : Thank you.
Customer :

have great day

Customer :

Rebeccavet : You, too. Good luck it's it's Curly.
Rebeccavet : With Curly! New computer?
Customer :
