My cat is peeing blood and pooping blood. What does that mean???

Is he straining in the litter box with only small amounts or urine or no urine production?
Press on the sides of his abdomen- is he painful?

not straining and no he doesnt seem to be in pain.
Ok good,

The one big worry with male cats is a urethral obstruction or "blocking." These guys present with straining to urinate but no production. If this is ever seen, then it's a serious emergency and he'd need to be seen right away.

Your cat sounds like he may just have a urinary tract infection or bladder infection and secondary stress colitis causing the blood in the stool. A course of antibiotics should clear this up as well as 1-2 days of a pain med to calm down that bladder inflammation.

It doesn't sound like anything too serious, but I'd get it taken care of in the next 1-2 days.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
