Hi there,

If you are talking about the split in the middle of the upper lip, that is leading up to the nose, this is part of normal anatomy. If this area does not seem symmetrical and is off to one side, or is red or oozing, then it may be abnormal and may be a sign of injury or skin disease, in which case it should be checked out by your vet.
