Generally speaking, no, those medications are not safe for cats. In fact, they are potentially fatal if given to cats. They lack the necessary pathways to be able to safely metabolize them.


Some veterinary cardiologists will recommend that some cats with heart disease take a very low dose of baby aspirin but that is only recommended when under the supervision of a veterinarian and only in certain instances when the benefits outweigh the risks.
