Usually the best to accomodate the situation is to work in a low communication output job, usually something like manufacturing where the boss tell you what to do and you make a product or do work that require no interaction with anyone after.
Biology can be like that as writting report is not like talking to others. That said nobody do that alone anymore and it is always inside teams most of the time (and that can include lot of meetings). It can still be something very calm and without too much interaction, for exemple if you work for the Forestry Service.
Management job are by definition communication job. She may find it easier to work as a boss because she would be more in control but as she only start in the workplace, she would have to start at the base with all the stress that it can come with it.
If she is very sensitive (and most selective mute are) i would go work in a biology workplace. Scientist are usually less about dominating and promotion than other field and usually like to have fun more. Something like working in the field with expedition and all or very solitary lab work.
