Good afternoon,

I'm sorry to hear of the situation.

So long as you can afford to take the career break, and you are prepared to keep up any continuing education to maintain your nursing license---then the decision is really a matter of what you want---and take a break to care for four children may well be a great idea. If you are married and your husband/partner is not supportive of a break---that will be an issue to keep in mind as you make your decision.

I hope that you found my answer informative, that you are accepting of my efforts and that you will rate my efforts based on the knowledge I have provided to you.

I wish you the best in 2012.

Thank you.

Doug
