I have a fluttering in my chest which is causing lack of sleep? What causes this .

It might be a heart rhythm disorder. Because there are so many things it could be, it would have to be picked up on an EKG or a heart monitor to diagnose exactly what it is. That would determine whether or not anything needs to be done about it. There are several different types of monitors and monitoring devices available; so if it is persisting you should see a Cardiologist. Stressful situations can also trigger things like this.

You especially will want to be sure it is not atrial fibrillation; which can cause clots to form in the heart, break off and then cause a stroke. But this is only one of many possibilities.Please give a rating
